The NAIFF-Nepal America International Film Festival is set to take place from June 20th to 23rd 2024 at the AFI Silver Theatre and Cultural Center and Greenbelt Cinema in Maryland. The festival showcases all genres of films, including feature-length, documentaries, animation, experimental, and shorts from all over the world, including Nepal, America, South Asia, and beyond.

Since its inception, the film festival has partnered with the Global Peace Film Festival Florida for the Sidebar section. Additionally, the festival will feature a special DMV Close-up section highlighting films from Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

The NAIFF kicks off in style with a glamorous opening ceremony and red carpet affair, leading into the highly anticipated screening of the festival’s inaugural film. Distinguished guests from embassies and art, cultural, and community organizations grace the event. The ceremony duly recognizes all invited artists, filmmakers, entrepreneurs, and the Nepali Diaspora community and local organization leaders.

The festival concludes with a dazzling closing ceremony, including a red carpet event and award ceremony, followed by the screening of the closing film. Films selected by juries receive awards in various categories, and all participating films are recognized. Volunteers and supporters are also honored for their contributions.
